Harajuku Kitchen has been serving authentic Japanese cuisine in Edinburgh since 2013 , from our roots as a Japanese street food stall at Stockbridge Market to our award-winning restaurant in Bruntsfield. That same passion for quality, authenticity, and flavour is at the heart of everything we bring to your event.
As the official caterer for the Consulate General of Japan in Scotland, the Scottish Japan Society, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Scotland, and Scottish Rugby Union, we have a proven track record delivering Japanese food at the highest level for occasions that demand nothing less.

Our sushi platters are elegant, crowd-pleasing, and crafted with the same care as our restaurant menu. Choose from a selection of classic and seasonal rolls, nigiri, and more — all presented beautifully for any occasion.
Ideal for smaller events: We offer takeaway pre-orders of sushi platters with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

If you’ve spotted us at Edinburgh’s markets and festivals, you’ll know our gyoza dumplings and udon noodle stir fries are hard to resist. This street food-style service is relaxed, vibrant, and always a hit.

Absolutely. We regularly cater for corporate lunches, office parties, hospitality events, and team celebrations across Edinburgh. Sushi platters are especially popular for corporate catering.
For smaller pre-orders (sushi platters and takeaway orders), we prefer a minimum of 24 hours notice. For larger events, the sooner you get in touch, the better — especially for peak dates.
We can travel beyond central Edinburgh for the right event. A travel fee may apply depending on the distance. Contact us with your venue details and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Yes — this is something we love to do. We’re experienced at outdoor street food-style catering at festivals and markets across Scotland, and we can bring our own outdoor kitchen and gazebo if needed.
